AMIGOS
Quemado Roundup

Each May, somewhere around Mother's Day, the AMIGOS membership meets for a week of camping, fishing and story telling. The setting is the Quemado Lake Campground located on the Gila NF. There are plenty of activities for everyone, from bird watching to horseshoes, and lots of time for catching up with friends. Each year there is a fishing tournament to see who can catch the biggest fish, or tell the biggest fishing story.

Quemado Roundup 2009

The 2009 Quemado Roundup will be held May 11-14, 2009.

The agenda and more information about the Roundup will be posted as we get closer to the dates.

For those not interested in roughing it, there are some motels in Quemado, NM.

For more information, check out the Gila NF webpage on Quemado Lake.
