According to the bylaws, membership in the AMIGOS is open to any retired employee of the Forest Service and/or their spouse/significant other, any current employee of the Forest Service who is within 5 years of retirement, or a former employee of the Forest Service who left the agency within 5 years of retirment. Also, spouses of deceased empolyees or retirees are eligible for membership. Associate membership is available to retirees of any Federal Natural Resource Management agency.
Dues for membership are $10.00 a year payable with the application for membership and due annually thereafter at the beginning of the calendar year.
Upon failure to pay dues for one year, members will be dropped from the membership rolls.
